For decades, students at Black River, and now Green Mountain Middle/High Schools, have had the opportunity to send students to compete in the State and National History Day program. The state contest this year, like many events, has gone virtual. However, the Washington, DC event over the summer is still on, and there are substantial travel expenses that go into that trip. Since we are all home in front of our computers, it seems like the right time to start a shop from home fundraiser to defray these costs. If the trip does not take place this year because of COVID-19, we will carry any earnings over for next year.
